Mr. Bybee and a friend stopped by today to teach our 1st graders about Veteran's Day and the American flag.

Congratulations FFA Trap Shooting Team! Our 1st squad placed 3rd at the Area shoot and the 2nd squad placed 15th. Congratulations to Matthew Richardson for placing 3rd overall and David Thomlinson for placing 10th overall.

Congratulations to Monty Cornine for placing 3rd yesterday in FFA Districts in fall public speaking!

Congratulations Quiz Bowl Team! Last night the team won two games against Stover and Sacred Heart. High scorers for the night were Cade Fagg with 400 points, Daniel Younger-Loesing with 180 points and Maddy Meyer with 10 point. We are proud of you!

Northwest High School has been recognized by the Policy Research in Missouri Education (PRiME) Center through Saint Louis University as the #1 growth middle school in Mathematics, Schoolwide Achievement. Northwest is being recognized as #1 in the region and state-wide! Congratulations Ms. Marsh and Northwest students! This is inspiring!

Your Northwest High School football team will host a district football game vs. Norborne with Hardin-Central this Friday, November 5, with a 7:00 pm kickoff. The cost to enter the district game is $5.00.

NWES Students of the Week!

Parents: After-school tutoring at NWHS will start next Tuesday, October 26th. Tutoring will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the high school library.
