State FBLA Convention was the first part of this week. Northwest FBLA was recognized as a Gold Level Champion Chapter. Northwest was also recognized as Chapter of the Year! Congratulations FBLA members and Ms. Robison!

Our buildings will be under a "soft" lockdown today, meaning students and staff will be staying inside. This is due to the incident involving a shooting in Oak Grove yesterday that led to a manhunt near our area. While there is no immediate threat to the school, we want to practice caution. Thank you for your understanding.

Our Spelling and Math Bee students did a great job yesterday in the Kaysinger competition! Lidiya Kyvyrzhik took home 1st place in Spelling for the third year in a row, Beckett Ramey got 2nd place in Math, and Reyden Bolling got 3rd place in Math. Jackson Kahrs was 4th place in Spelling and Caleb Smith was 5th place. Way to go! 🏆


Today law enforcement personnel, as part of our ongoing community partnership, visited Northwest schools. No event precipitated this visit. Thank you to our law enforcement partners - we appreciate your support!
Congratulations to Braden Allred for placing 6th in shotput. All High school track team members improved their times at the meet yesterday. Well done.
