Family Night at NWES!

On Tuesday members attended District Greenhand Conference in Sedalia. Members got to hear from state officers, sit in on leadership sessions, and network with other members!

Congratulations to Livy Lyne on being awarded a $1,000 Missouri FFA Foundation SAE grant! This grant was made possible by the MFA Foundation. Livy was one of 25 students who were awarded this grant! We are proud of her.

Congratulations to our 2021 Barnwarming King and Queen, Blaine Kreisel and Sidney Douglas!

Congratulations to Tanner Johnson, Hunter Arnett and Chase Walbourn for being selected to win a $1,000 SAE grant from National FFA! These grants will help these students start their SAE projects. There were only 389 grants nationwide.

FYI: Today a couple of Sheriff's deputies visited both schools. The deputies were here just to build relationships with the schools. They came just as a community service - for students to see them as a positive face. Thank you

Northwest High School and Crest Ridge High School have an opening for a rootEd Advisor. This full-time position is split between two high schools (2 days each week in each school). Pay for February 2022 through June 2022 will be $22,000 with full benefits. Full school year pay of $45,000. Counselor certificate not required. Bachelor’s degree is required. The rootEd Advisor is embedded in schools to proactively help high school students through each step of career exploration and postsecondary attainment. COVID19 UPDATE: Currently we have zero positive cases in the district. Thank you for keeping your children home when they are sick. This helps slow or stop the spread of strep throat, influenza, Covid and other illnesses in the school. Thank you

Football Postseason Awards: Braden Allred: All-Conference Defensive Line & All-District Defensive Line Nick Crosswhite: All-Conference Tight End, All-Conference Defensive End, All-District Tight End & KMZU Dream Team Isaac Nieters: All-Conference Quarterback Pierson Tichenor: All-Conference Wide Receiver, All-Conference Safety, All-District Wide Receiver, All-District Safety & KMZU Dream Team Isacc Nieters & Pierson Tichenor were also chosen for Academic All-State Football!!!
