Our Spelling and Math Bee students did a great job yesterday in the Kaysinger competition! Lidiya Kyvyrzhik took home 1st place in Spelling for the third year in a row, Beckett Ramey got 2nd place in Math, and Reyden Bolling got 3rd place in Math. Jackson Kahrs was 4th place in Spelling and Caleb Smith was 5th place. Way to go! 🏆

Today law enforcement personnel, as part of our ongoing community partnership, visited Northwest schools. No event precipitated this visit. Thank you to our law enforcement partners - we appreciate your support!

Congratulations to Braden Allred for placing 6th in shotput. All High school track team members improved their times at the meet yesterday. Well done.

Last Friday we recognized students for academics, good character, honor roll, reading clubs, and choir achievement for 3rd quarter. NWES has AWESOME students...Keep up the great work and end the year strong Mustangs!

Congratulations NW High School! We have the #1 High School Annual Performance Report (APR) score for the Kaysinger Conference. The APR is a state report that compiles measures of student academic success. These academic successes are due to hard work by students and faculty and staff.

Due to retirement the Pettis Co R-V School District is looking for an individual to serve as our coordinator for MOSIS and Federal Programs. The position is structured so that the district may designate it as either certified or classified. Knowledge of student information systems and/or federal programs would be beneficial but is not required. Training will be provided for the position. Hiring for the position will be no later than June 2023 and may be as soon as April 2023 dependent on candidate strengths and availability. We took 18 FCCLA members to our Spring Leadership conference March 12, 13, 14! Lots of learning, leadership development, inspiration and chapter bonding. Looking forward to what our chapter will do next in our school community.

Congratulations Cade Fagg! For the 3rd year in a row Cade is #1 in the Kaysinger Conference for points in Scholar Bowl. Northwest now has a 3 peat Kaysinger Conference Champion!

Pre-K registration will be Friday, March 24th beginning at 8:30 am. A parent (or grandparent) can register by coming by the Elementary office - phone calls will not be accepted for registration. Reminder: Students must be at least 4 yrs old and reside in the Pettis Co R-V school district. Please bring a copy of their birth certificate, current immunization record, and proof of residency to registration. ***Students do not need to be present.
