Attention all Seniors!

Congrats to the Lady Mustangs Volleyball Team on their win tonight. The Ladies are 3-1 and start the Husker Spike Fest tournament this Saturday at 9:30 am.

Bus route #1 will also be running about 15 minutes behind schedule this afternoon. Again, thank you for your patience and understanding as we are short drivers today.

The Lady Mustangs Volleyball team kick off their home opener tonight vs. Bunceton with Prairie Home. Please come out and support your Lady Mustangs Volleyball team! Also, if you can, please bring an extra $10.00 to purchase some beautiful MUMS supporting the FFA program.

Bus routes #2 and #3 will be combined this afternoon, September 9th. Students riding bus #3 may be dropped off a few minutes later than normal time. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause!

The Junior High football game on 9/13/21 start time has been moved to 6:00 pm.

Bus routes 2 and 3 have been combined so far this year due to a bus driver shortage. Beginning next Tuesday, September 7th, routes 2 and 3 will be separated, as they were last year. If you need the pick-up time for your child for Tuesday please contact your bus driver. The afternoon driver will be giving times to students today. Thank you very much for your patience and understanding. If you have any questions please call the school at 827-0772.

Reminder that tonight at 7:00pm is the PTO meeting in the high school cafeteria. We hope to see everyone there.

Below are the activities scheduled for August 31- September 3 at Northwest High School.

Dear Northwest Community,
We are eagerly anticipating the return of our students to school! We were very glad to have been able to complete our school year in-person last year and have every intention of completing this year in-person as well. We are scheduled to return to school this fall on August 24, 2021. We will return to school under our Safe Return to In-Person Instruction (SRCSP) plan which is posted to the homepage of our website. This plan is required to be re-evaluated periodically and you are welcome to provide input.
We encourage everyone to remain at home when they are not feeling well and will continue to provide a home health screening tool (checklist of symptoms) for students and staff. We will not screen all students for fevers at the beginning of each day. Currently it is required, per federal order, for all people to wear face coverings while on school buses. Masks will be provided on the buses for all students. Masks are not required at school. However, students will be supported fully if they choose to wear masks. Students who are placed on quarantine will be provided alternative methods of instruction while away from school.
Together we can best serve our students. Thank you again for your continued communication and cooperation with the school district.
Respectfully,
Amy Fagg
Superintendent
