Reminder:
ALL snow days were built into the school calendar this year. So, there will NOT be any make-up days. The calendar will remain as set with the last day of school being Friday, May 27th. Looking ahead, all snow days were built into next year's school calendar as well.

On Tuesday, our 6th graders attended the Children’s Literature Festival at UCM. They were able to meet many of their favorite authors and purchase books. Thank you Mrs. Bozarth, Mrs. Pilliard, and Mrs. Reid for sharing this opportunity and always instilling a love of reading!
Due to forecasted snow and poor road conditions, Northwest schools will be closed tomorrow, March 10th.
On March 7th, 2022 the High School and MS band members traveled to Cole Camp for our Kaysinger Conference Music Festival. Allison Ballenger received an Exemplary (I) rating on her clarinet solo, and an Outstanding (II) rating on her Piano Solo. The Wood wind trio (consisting of Kinlee Rae, Lianna Silchuck, and Allison Ballenger) received an Outstand (II) rating on their piece. Take a bow Ladies! YOU DID AWESOME!!!!
Our next Festival is our District on March 25/26, 2022!
The baseball Jamboree scheduled for this Saturday has officially been moved to 3/16.

Attached is a picture of the students that went to CMU Music Festival. Miss Allison Ballenger (clarinet), Mr. Caleb Martin (Trombone) both received an Outstanding rating for solos. Our woodwind Trio (Miss Allison -clarinet, Miss Lianna Silchuck - flute, and Miss Anastasia Donet - flute) also received an outstanding rating for their performance! Grayson Vaughan (Trombone) and Allison Ballenger (piano) received a Satisfactory rating for their great performance! Take a bow ladies and gentlemen you did Awesome!

CMU Music Festival is Friday, March 4th - bus leaves 7:00am for 7-12 band students. Kaysinger Conference Music Festival is Monday, March 7th - bus leaves at 12:30 for 9-12 band students.

Any Northwest High School student in grades 7-12 interested in riding the pep bus to the Sectional game this Tuesday (tomorrow), tomorrow please sign up by noon in the cafeteria and grab a permission slip from Coach Balbirnie. We will leave at 6:00 pm. Before you get on the bus, you will have to hand coach Balbirnie your permission slip and show proof of online ticket. Go MUSTANGS!!
